If you enjoy horror puzzle video games, then you’ll surely enjoy The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories. This game was developed by Hidetaka Suehiro’s White Owls Inc. and published by Arc System Works. It was released on 11 October 2018.

The Missing is a short game that will transport you to a surreal, dark world of youth. While some players will find it overly-priced and over-melodramatic, others will find it a deeply affecting story of friendship. Those who play it will definitely remember it fondly. Although The Missing has a solid audience, it’s not recommended for younger children. If you want to make a strong impression on your friends, this game is worth a try.

The MISSING is a harrowing novel that follows 19-year-old J.J. Macfield as she seeks to find her long-lost friend, Emily, after her suicide attempt. The series begins with J.J. bleeding on the lecture hall floor as paramedics desperately try to save his life. However, the game is not without its flaws. It’s a good read for anyone who wants to know more about how suicide is handled.

Emily and J.J. Macfield are college students who take a trip to Memoria Island, Maine. However, their trip turns dangerous when Emily disappears in the night. J.J. sets out to find her, but on the way, she meets the mysterious Hairshrieker. Unfortunately, a creature known as the Hairshrieker chases J.J. on the island. As J.J. struggles to survive, she learns that she cannot die. She must mutilate herself in order to continue. Ultimately, it is J.J. who will fight to survive to find her.

Although the game does not reveal the identity of the man who murdered Emily, the yurei ghost is likely a trans person. The mysterious note Emily finds in her room is addressed to her «little brother.» Despite her death, the yurei ghost remains a mystery, but it is still the most disturbing aspect of the story. It is addressed to a trans person and is signed by J.J.

During the course of the story, the storyline is based around the protagonist, J.J. Macfield. The game follows J.J. after he is nearly killed by a lightning bolt. After recovering from the shock, J.J. is able to regenerate her body but can still die if she takes too many hits. After losing limbs and breaking her spine, J.J. also heals from burns and decapitations. However, her regeneration does not completely restore her body; she can still feel pain.

As the story progresses, J.J. is still trapped in the Dying Dream, but she eventually manages to wake up at the shore of a lake. The final confrontation between J.J. and the yurei ends in an intense battle. J.J. is stunned by the final blow delivered by the yurei, but an ensuing lightning bolt channels through her body, killing the yurei. When she awakes, she finds a human being in her place.
